I have tried on many occasions to write down an introduction to my Africa photography, but I never seem to find the words that do the experiences justice. I am a visual guy after all. So, it is in the images themselves, that my intent is expressed. 

 

Stories of my varied adventures, I could keep you up all night speaking to all the beautiful places I have been fortunate enough to travel. The breath-taking landscapes, the remarkable warm-hearted kindness of strangers met along the road, the arts, the music, the rich cultural histories…

 

If I were to endeavor to sum up the experiences of all of my travels in a concise manner, I would say this- Never have I been more content than when I have been sitting in the Sahara Desert, sipping on Tuareg tea. It is, I imagine, the equivalent of one reaching the perfect state of zen.
